Our Story
Living lightly, one small change at a time
Earth Friendly Blogs began at a kitchen table piled with more plastic than I cared to admit — and a stubborn belief that greener living could be simple, warm, and genuinely enjoyable.

Hello, I'm Sarah 🌿
I'm a writer, home cook, and slightly obsessive gardener based in a small house with an even smaller garden. A decade ago I started paying attention to how much my ordinary life threw away — and how much of it I could quietly change without turning my world upside down.
What began as swapping cling film for beeswax wraps grew into a compost heap, a balcony full of tomatoes, a plastic-free bathroom, and eventually this journal. I write the guide I wish I'd had when I started: practical, honest, and free of the guilt that makes so many people give up before they begin.
Everything here is tested in my own home. If it's here, it worked — and it was worth the effort.
What we believe
Doable beats perfect
A hundred people living imperfectly greener does more than a handful living zero-waste. We share the small step you can take today, not the impossible ideal.
No guilt, ever
You won't find shame here. Sustainable living should feel warm and welcoming — a set of good habits you actually enjoy, not a test you're failing.
Real, tested advice
Everything we publish has been tried in an ordinary kitchen, garden, and home. If a swap didn't work for us, we'll tell you that too.
